We booked a train ticket with B-europe and left a few days later with the TGV from Brussels South with destination Marseille. As the saying goes, "the early morning has gold in its mouth" we left early in the morning to the land of milk and honey.

Girls talk, answering emails and some snacks and drinks made this train journey pass real quick.
In a short period of time we arrived at the station of the sunny Marseille.
We hired a car at Sunny cars, with navigation off course ;-) to drive to our paradise destination. Endless poppy fields, olive trees and vineyards made us feel very enthusiastic. Certainly when Ultimate Chaos decided to start singing Casanova through our boxes, the roof went off! Figuratively off course :-)
If you wonder who's taking all those beautiful pictures? :-)

After a short of 100 km drive we arrived in "Joucas". A beautiful village located 6 km from Gordes, characterized by its hidden alleyways, paved streets and a dreamhotel: Le Phébus & Spa

In the middle of a beautiful park we encountered a beautiful, charming country house in Provencal style. This former farmhouse was transformed into a true luxury paradise surrounded by the natural beauty of the Luberon.

After a warm welcome, a delicious "Ceasar salad" and a glass of rosé wine at the Café de la Fontaine we were escorted to our rooms ... or better said suites. We felt like real princesses in our beautiful rooms with garden and private pool.
It didn't take long before we jumped into the water... :-)

To get into the provencal atmosphere right away, we went for an exiting game of petanque.
While sipping from a glass of Pastis we've tried to win the game. Whether we played well? Let's say we had lots of fun :-)

In the evening we were invited at the restaurant for a gourmet dinner, made by top chef Xavier Mathieu.

The charming, renowned chef gets inspired by ancient Provençal recipes that he knows to turn in something new with the necessary elegance and creativity. It became a gastronomic 7-course trip where subtle flavors, textures and colors woke up our taste buds. The passion for gastronomy obviously lives here...Pure indulgence, wow!
Waking up in Le Phébus is like waking up in a dream ... just like all the rest in this beautiful place.

There wasn't much time to stay in bed cause Inge invited Zoë and me over for a delicious "pool brunch" in her suite. And of course we accepted that invitation with great pleasure!

After the brunch there was a very amusing activity planned. A cycling trip through the Vaucluse with a visit to Roussillon's famous arch-groves, also known as the "Colorado of the Provence". A beautiful natural phenomenon that is worth a visit.

The cycling went so smoothly that we got noticed. We heard them think out loud "Those 3 blondes need to be in quite a condition"... Sur we did ;-) but what they didn't know is that they were electric bikes.

Beautiful orange bikes with a retro look to explore the region in style. What else could we wish for, right?

After the cycling "work out" it was time for pampering. A relaxing massage was the perfect ending of a magical stay in Joucas.
