Shopping, food & wine experience, five stars hotel and wellness. Italy can offer a luxury experience for an unforgettable holiday.Shopping, food & wine experience, five stars hotel and wellness. Italy can offer a luxury experience for an unforgettable holiday. Some places are worldwide known as luxury icons! Most of them I have visited and they all have a special place in my heart.
Like Portofino, where dozens of celebrities have visited this tiny fishing village and turned it in an upscale town. You feel like a real moviestar while drinking a glass of prosecco in the small harbor watching the staff of the many luxurious yachts.
The Amalfi Coast feels like a dream and at Como Lake you find plenty of beautiful Renaissance architecture and cobblestone streets to explore. Don't forget that it's not difficult to find luxurious apartments, houses, villas and even castles in enchanting Tuscany or Sardinia.
But I must admit I am totally hoocked at the Italian City life so you can often find me shopping in Milan or inhaling some culture in Rome.
For your luxury shopping sessions, nothing better than Via Montenapoleone, Via Manzoni, Via della Spiga e Corso Venezia in Milan, with boutiques of Armani, Bottega Veneta, Bulgari, Cartier, Chanel, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, Gucci, Prada, Tifany, Valentino, Versace.
In Rome you have to shop at via Condotti and via Chiaia is the place to be in Naples.
Not only big brands but also small boutique, and artisanship creations will blow you away. If you don't have the right budget, no problem only window shopping is so much fun in Italian shopping streets.
If you are looking for a three stars Michelin restaurants I can recommend, La Pergola in Rome, Ristorante Mudec in Milan. But you can also choose for a trendy rooftop dinner like Cersio 7 or just enjoy a burrata at café Manzoni in Via Monte Napoleone.
And what about wellness? A thermal spa vacation is always revitalizing, thanks to effective treatments and a wide range of services, but, most importantly, thanks to the enchanting natural landscapes in which they are located. Italy has various world-famous thermal spas: Saturnia, Montecatini, Bagni Vignoni, San Gimignano, Abano, Bormio, Salsomaggiore and Ischia, to name just a few. But the best holidays are those where you combine all the good things of Italy.
If you know Italy by heart or you love it as much as I do, maybe you can participate at one of the many international and glamorous events like the filmfestival of Rome or the Mille Miglia, a race with oldtimers, that will open for you an even more luxurious Italy.
